Account Closures for Personal and Business Accounts
How do I close my personal or business account?
To close your Oxygen account in the app, go to More/Settings/Close account. Select the account(s) you would like to close and tap continue. You'll receive a pop up that will confirm the changes; tap Close. You can also contact our Customer Support team via Chat, support@oxygen.us or 866-287-7021.
Can I still view my business or personal account information in the app after it's closed?
If you have both a personal and business account you can toggle between the two in the app in the top left corner of the home screen, however you will receive an error message when trying to toggle between your closed personal or business account.
What if I have funds in my account and closed my personal or business account?
If you closed your personal and/or business account with funds left in your account, a refund check will be sent with the remaining balance on the closed account. If you closed both your business and personal account, you will receive two separate checks for each account. Once the account is closed, the check could take up to 10-14 business days to process and in some cases may take longer due to transit time. If the funds in your account are the subject of an investigation; those funds will remain in the account until the investigation has been resolved.
Can I reactivate my business or personal account if I decide to close it?
If your account was closed less than 45 days ago, it can be reactivated. If it's been more than 45 days, unfortunately, you cannot re-apply or reactivate your account at this time. Contact our Customer Support team via Chat, support@oxygen.us or 866-287-7021 to see if your account is eligible for reactivation.
Can I close my personal or business account and leave one active?
Yes, if you have both a personal and business account you can close just one and still have access to the other, however you will receive an error message when trying to toggle between your closed personal or business account.
Can I download my bank statements from either my business or personal account after it's closed?
Unfortunately, you will not be able to access your bank statements from either account once your account is closed. If you need a bank statement, please contact our Customer Support team via Chat, support@oxygen.us or 866-287-7021.
If my business account is closed, can I download my invoices and other important documents?
Unfortunately, you will not be able to access your invoices or other documents once your account is closed.
Can I use a separate email for each of my personal and business accounts?
No, you will need to use the same email address for both your personal and business account.
